Alex Allday is a ceramic and surface pattern designer based in the Middleport Pottery, home of Burleighware and also filming location for The Great Pottery Throw Down in Stoke On Trent, UK.
Her designs are inspired by a fusion of traditional patterns and such as floral motifs, victorian tiles and ornate architechture. Her work is wonderful representation of both the long history and new resurgence of fine pottery making in Stoke On Trent, combining traditional handcrat methods with state of the art digital techniques to produce her work.
